ABOUT THE OWNERS

Jason and Donna Miller, the owners of Kensington Framing and Design bring a unique range of experience, knowledge and skills to offer their customers. They share enthusiasm for helping each person create a custom design which enhances the work that is being framed.

Jason has fifteen years of experience in the field of framing. As part of his work, he has traveled extensively to framing factories, including two in Italy. His knowledge of a vast array of framing materials, and their qualities and applications for different types of design, is invaluable in choosing the framing materials offered by Kensington Framing and Design. This depth of knowledge about available products and specific design effects produces an environment in the showroom where the customer can become well informed in the process of selecting and coordinating the materials that will best enhance their art or other framing project.

Donna has worked and volunteered at local museums, working with artifacts, preservation techniques and preparing items for display. Her love of history and art also led her to take a variety of art history courses as part of the undergraduate degree she earned from Hood College. She also completed course work in layout and design while at Hood College. She has an eye for color and style and sees many options when approaching a project. For the last 6 years, Donna has worked in the field of broadcasting and journalism on the national level and locally in Washington, D.C., as the producer of a radio talk show. This has given her the opportunity to enjoy working with many different people in a creative environment.
